Detailed product description

Neodymium pot magnets are built from the alloy Neodymium-Ferro-Boron (NdFeB, known at Goudsmit under the brand name Neoflux®). The magnetic force of neodymium pot magnets is approximately 7 times higher than that of ferrite pot magnets. The magnets have a casing of soft iron that ensures a magnetic cover. A protective coating has been added to prevent corrosion.

The NdFeB pot magnets can be used up to a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius. At this temperature there is a loss of magnetic force of 15 to 20%. As soon as the magnet has cooled off to room temperature, the magnetic force will recover to the normal values.
