Pot magnets and magnetic hooks

Pot magnets and magnetic hooks are compact magnet systems with a single attracting surface.

They have a steel, brass, stainless steel or plastic shell. The steel shell prevents dispersion of the magnetic field and increases the magnetic force of the attracting surface. The shell - or pot - also provides better corrosion and chemical resistance. The maximum operating temperature ranges from 60 to 450 °C.

We supply pot magnets made of neodymium, samarium cobalt, AlNiCo and ferrite. See our range below.

  • Ohne bohren und schrauben zu befestigen
  • Zur Präsentation zum Ausstellen oder Aufhängen
  • Reduces number of assembly steps
  • Unbegrenzt nutzbar und verschiebbar
  • For picking up, positioning or holding products

Optimal magnetic holding force

10 products
  • In principle, magnets retain their magnetic force indefinitely.
  • Clean pole surfaces and a flat workpiece ensure optimal tensile force.
  • Small cracks in magnetic material have no effect.

Factors that adversely affect the functioning of pot magnets:

  • Heat, shocks, external magnetic fields and corrosion.
  • Different alloys influence the magnetic force because of the permeability of the alloyed material; The higher the carbon content of the alloy components, the smaller the magnetic attraction force.
  • When the roughness of the surface of the workpiece increases.
  • An air gap and non-magnetic material between magnet and workpiece.
  • Through exposure to prolonged radioactive and gamma radiation.
