Detailed product description

Application

This magnetic filter is not suitable for the food industry. This type of filter is used for larger diameters, because for this size of filter the magnet unit is too heavy to lift. For example removing steel wire from paper pulp (reed the blog)

Design

Standard industrial pneumatic magnetic filters are available for pipe sizes from DN150 and fitted with flanges of type DIN 2576 PN10. The neodymium magnetic bars in this type move inside a sealed tube.
Cleaning of the magnetic rods is performed partly manually (over guide rods) and partly automatically (pneumatically controlled).

Cleaning

Once the product stream is stopped, the complete magnet unit can be manually slid over the guide rods out of the product channel. Then the magnetic rods are pneumatically 'blown' to the OUT position, at which point the Fe particles fall off of the tubes.
