Measuring equipment for magnets
For magnetic measurements on basic magnets we use the most cutting edge equipment.
To guarantee the highest quality of magnets and systems, we also carry out both production as well as post-production measurements. We use various measuring equipment for this. We record data which is relevant for us and our clients. In this way, we gain additional and quicker insight into the properties and the behaviour of a product in a certain environment or assembly.
Overview of measuring devices for magnet measurements
Flux meter 3D
Checking the magnetization angle.
This is especially important in combination with sensors.
Read more about 3D flux measurements and discover the importance of magnets with the right polarization orientation.
Helmholtz coil
Measuring the magnetic moment.
A quick way to measure the differences between magnets.

Optical 3D scanner
Measuring the full geometry of a permanent magnet.
Based on blue light technology, we make extensive analyses and reports on permanent magnets for, among others, the automotive and aerospace industries.
This data provides you with important information. Already during the design phase of a product, adjustments and improvements are possible.
Do you want to prevent errors in the design phase? If so, ask our consultants what the optical 3D scanner can do for you.
Permagraph
Determine the required magnetic specifications.
With this, we make a hysteresis curve. This shows the relationship between the induced magnetic flux density (B) and the magnetic field strength (H).
Read more about the permagraph and discover the importance of the correct magnetic specifications for your application.
3D CMM measuring machine
3D measurements of magnets and non-magnetic materials.
Using a scanning sensor, we can measure 3D precisely.
Please contact our engineers and discover what 3D CMM measuring can do for you.
Gauss meter
Measuring the magnetic field.
Measures the magnetic field at the surface of a magnet with a Hall-effect sensor. The sensor measures the magnetic flux density perpendicular to the sensor surface.
Here you can find more information and an overview of our gauss meters.
Magnetization bench
Using our magnetization unit, we can magnetize unmagnetized magnets to full saturation.
The maximum dimensions of our coils and the desired form of magnetization determine the possibilities.

Handheld XRF analyser
With this we carry out spectrum measurements using electro-magnetic radiation. This way, we gain insight into the material structure and quality.
XRF, or X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy, is the collective name for atomic spectroscopy. A principle in which a magnet is irradiated with X-rays. This allows the quality to be checked and guaranteed at molecular level.

Roughness tester
To check whether magnets and assemblies meet the roughness requirements.
Measures the roughness with external probes and gains optimal insight into the surface roughness of grooves and holes in magnet material.
