The Neodymium overband magnets are extremely powerful and very compact.
An important advantage of the ferrite overband magnet is that the holding field of the neodymium version is approximately twice as strong in the first 10 cm. Therefore neodymium overband magnets are very suitable for use in fine-grained fractions. However, the magnetic field penetrates somewhat less deeply, making them suitable for maximum layer thicknesses of 250 mm.

The neodymium overbelt magnets are available in both transverse (crosswise) and inline configurations. They have a low weight and are therefore excellent for mobile applications.

Applications are:

  • automatic separation and discharge of Fe particles and/or weakly magnetic particles from streams with small layer thickness;
  • recovery (recycling) of ferrous particles;
  • prevention of damage to machines by metal particles.
