Inspection rods
With magnetic inspection rods, you can determine whether your product is contaminated with ferromagnetic (Fe) particles. The inspection bars attract Fe particles as small as 30 microns. These very fine Fe particles cannot be detected with a metal detector.

Design
Goudsmit inspection rods are strong neodymium (Neoflux®) magnetic bars with a handle and an enclosed stainless steel (extractor) tube. You can easily remove attracted Fe parts by pulling the tube from the magnetic bar. In this way, the Fe parts fall off automatically.

Application
Magnetic inspection rods are used to check or verify whether a product flow is free of ferrous metal. Due to the very high magnetic force, very small iron or stainless steel particles can be captured.
