Goudsmit Magnetics was founded in 1959 by Theo Goudsmit, who started producing clamping plates. Shortly afterwards, he developed the first magnetic separators.

His son, Martin, took over the company in 1982, after which Goudsmit gained worldwide renown in the field of metal separation from product flows.

The 3rd generation is now at the helm. Johan Goudsmit saw his grandfather’s company multiply in size; in terms of surface area, people, markets and turnover.

Goudsmit is now an important player in various markets, including food, automotive and aerospace. It goes without saying that developments continue apace.
